What inspired you to start your own business?
I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but I wasn't sure what that would look like. After years of anxiety and stomach issues (and zero answers from doctors), cannabis gave me the relief I’d been searching for, which lit a fire under my commitment to plant medicine. This led me to pursue a cannabis license and open a dispensary.
How did you find yourself doing this work?
I spent over 20 years in advertising—selling big ideas, running major events, and building relationships with executives who love a good ROI. But while I was busy driving revenue, my real passion was cannabis wellness. In 2020, I launched my online business, and by February 2021, I opened Maplewood Village’s first women‑owned CBD storefront. Followed by the opening of my dispensary in August 2023 and a brand in May 2025. Now I empower my community with wellness, education, and a little plant-powered magic every day.
