Stacey Tauriello
Hi! Introduce yourself!
I'm a physical therapist, entrepreneur, wife, and mom who is passionate about helping people feel strong, confident, and empowered in their bodies.
I founded 5 Point Physical Therapy & Wellness in New York City in 2011 with the goal of creating a more personalized approach to healthcare, and over
the past 15 years I've grown it into a thriving practice with locations in both New York City and New Jersey. Along the way, I've learned that running a business requires equal parts passion, resilience, and adaptability. I've survived Hurricane Sandy, citywide blackouts, and, most notably, COVID. Those experiences taught me how to pivot, reinvent, and keep moving forward when circumstances are completely out of your control. If there's one thing I've learned as a business owner, it's that flexibility isn't optional—it's a survival skill. After moving to Maplewood in 2015 and becoming a first-time mom at 45, I gained an even deeper appreciation for the challenges and transitions that come with different stages of life. These experiences fueled my passion for women's health, healthy aging, and helping people navigate everything from pregnancy and postpartum recovery to menopause and cancer survivorship. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me exploring local restaurants, traveling, spending time with my family, cheering on my daughter, or diving into my latest wellness obsession. I love connecting people, building community, and helping others find practical, realistic ways to prioritize their health. My philosophy is that life is too short to spend it feeling limited by your body, and that everyone deserves access to the knowledge, support, and resources they need to thrive. These days, I'm focused on growing a business that makes a meaningful impact while also embracing my personal motto: work smarter, not harder.
